We made an aroace chiffon cake, topped with buttercream Goomy!

Goomy's purple and green colours bring to mind both the aromantic and asexual pride flags for me, so we dyed this airy cake in the colours of the new aroace pride flag!

💚 Aromantic: someone who experiences little to no romantic attraction 💜 Asexual: someone who experiences little to no sexual attraction

These identities aren't mutually exclusive, and like many, they exist on a spectrum with all kinds of intersections! (Please forgive me for only having the ace flag!)

We baked this cake live on my weekly Twitch Pokémon baking show, and I made sooooo many mistakes! It was my first time making chiffon, and I learned so much. I'm not sure how other bakers get perfectly even coloured layers, but I love the accidental sunset vibes!

They’re girlfriends!!!

Espeon is a non-binary sun lesbian (“sun lesbian” is merely a term some lesbians use as an aesthetic descriptor, it’s also often used as a loose way to refer to more butch leanings)

Umbreon is a xenogendered moon lesbian (same thing but for the moon and femme)

and Sylveon is a trans woman and Bambi lesbian! (Bambi lesbians are lesbians who prefer more wholesome/romantic affection rather than sexual stuff, it’s sometimes said to be vaguely under the ace spectrum but not always)

Eiscue gay male pride cakesicles! 💚🤍💙

This entry of my Pokémon Pride Sweets series I made a few years back, and it fell apart a little - rather fitting for Eiscue!

Using this Japanese popsicle mold, we painted the gay male pride flag with chocolate candy melts, and added a cake pop filling (that unfortunately didn't adhere properly).

Did you know the earliest same-sex penguin couple was documented in 1911? 🐧Same-sex behaviour has been documented in over 450 animal species world-wide!
